National News: The Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday has shaken the country. There were 242 people on board the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that crashed soon after takeoff for London, of whom 241 have died. Only one person survived, whom Prime Minister Narendra Modi met in the hospital to know about his condition. The accident has not only raised questions on aviation safety, but now the government is seriously considering putting a temporary ban on the flying of Boeing Dreamliner planes in view of this incident.

Seeing the seriousness of the accident, Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah themselves reached Ahmedabad and took stock of the situation. According to sources, the Civil Aviation Ministry is getting a detailed technical review of Boeing 787-8 planes done. It is possible that the flights of these planes may be banned until the investigation report of the accident comes.

Safety audit and accountability of Air India

The government is going to conduct a thorough investigation of not only the plane but also the maintenance processes of Air India. It is believed that many important questions may arise regarding the process of repair, maintenance, and technical inspection of the airline's planes. In the accident, the plane took off at around 1:30 pm and crashed within just a minute.

Technical glitch or bird collision?

Aviation experts believe that this accident could be the result of engine failure or bird collision. Often such accidents have happened due to birds getting stuck in the engine. However, the final conclusion will be known only after the investigation report is received. Boeing Company has issued a statement saying that it is in touch with Air India and Indian authorities and is cooperating fully in the investigation. This accident is also a big blow to the company's reputation, because the Dreamliner series has been considered one of the safest aircraft till now.

The trust of millions of passengers is at stake

According to Boeing's website, more than a billion passengers have traveled in Dreamliner planes in the last 14 years. In such a situation, a major accident can affect the entire industry. The government's decisions in the coming weeks will decide whether Dreamliners will be able to fly in India again or not. This accident is not only a sad tragedy but also a warning for the entire aviation system. The government will now decide, after investigating every aspect, whether Boeing Dreamliners will be seen in Indian skies again or not.
